Difference Between North American and European Wolves

The American Wolf of the northern districts is covered with long and comparatively fine fur, mixed with a large quantity of shorter woolly hair, and it has a more robust form than the European Wolf. His ultimate goal was to create "a new and genetically rejuvenated dog breed" by crossing a German Shepherd dog named Gerard Van Fransenum with a female European she-wolf named Fleur.
